Standard Consultation & Telehealth Fees

We charge a $30 gap fee for both in person standard consultations and telehealth appointments. All other nonstandard consultations fees can be query over the phone with our reception.

Bulk billing is only available to the following groups, excluding public holidays and weekends:

• Children aged 15 years and under (Medicare holders)
• Pension and Concession Card holders
• DVA Card holders
• Health Care Card holders
• All Flu and COVID vaccine bookings

Public Holiday Fees

Please note that bulk billing is not available on public holidays. All in-person appointments will incur a $40 gap fee and telehealth appointments incur a $52 gap fee.

Telehealth Service

To qualify for Medicare-rebatable telehealth consultations, patients must have had an in-person appointment at our Myhealth Eastland clinic (not Myhealth Ringwood Level 1) within the past 12 months.

After your telehealth consultation, you will receive an SMS with details about your consultation fees. Payments can be made easily by following the instructions provided.

Payment Process and Rebate

Patients are required to pay the full consultation fee on the day of their appointment, so we can process the payment with Medicare and arrange for the rebate to be returned to you.

We will electronically submit the Medicare rebate on your behalf, and it is typically deposited into your bank account within a few business days. For patients using a debit or savings card, the rebate can be processed immediately.

For telehealth consultations, please ensure payment is made before 5 PM on the same day of your appointment so we can submit it to Medicare. For payments made after hours, patients will need to claim the rebate directly from Medicare using the receipt after payment

Follow-Up Appointments & Repeat Prescriptions

Please note that a standard consultation fee applies to follow-up appointments and result reviews. To ensure that all referrals and prescriptions are accurate and up to date, we recommend scheduling an appointment with your doctor. Bulk billing for follow-up appointments is at the discretion of the individual doctor.

After-Hours Care

In case of an emergency, please call 000 right away.

For after-hours care, you can book an after-hour telehealth appointment, and we’ll assess if a home visit is needed over the phone.

Patients will need to claim rebate directly with Medicare.

Allied Health Fees

Patients with chronic conditions may be eligible for a care plan that covers allied health services. Please speak to your regular doctor to get a careplan. Please note that the clinic cannot monitor your usage of the 5 covered services. If a service isn’t covered by Medicare, you will need to pay the full consultation fee.

Osteopath: Gap fee from $121 (depending on consultation length). A 50% of the consultation fee will be charged for no show or late cancellations.

Podiatrist: Gap Fee $20

Dietitian: Gap Fee $20, Concession $10 Gap Fee

Physiotherapist: Bulk bill with care plan except Mr Ivan Lam with a gap fee $20 Exercise

Exercise Physiologists: Bulk bill with care plan

Diabetes Educator: Gap Fee $20, Concession $10 Gap Fee
